With Valentine’s Day nearly upon us, what better excuse to whip up this decadent dessert? So whether you’re coupled up or celebrating solo, this dark chocolate protein mousse is just what the [love] doctor ordered…

Classic Dark Chocolate Protein Mousse

INGREDIENTS:
½ cup Greek yoghurt
¼ cup milk of your choice
20g good quality chocolate protein powder – whey or vegan (i.e. Happy Way, Bondi Protein, Prana Protein)
1tbs raw cacao powder
1tsp psyllium husk
1/2 tsp granulated stevia (optional)

MTHOD:
Blend all ingredients together with a high-speed blender or Bamix, adding extra milk if too thick. Spoon into a container, cover and allow to set in the fridge for at least one hour, or overnight.
Top with crushed nuts, fresh berries, sliced banana, goji berries, buckinis or toasted coconut

Vegan Dairy Free Protein Mousse

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2tbs chia seeds
20g good quality, vegan chocolate protein powder (i.e. Bondi Protein Co – Vegan, Prana Protein, RAW Amazonia)
1tbs raw cacao powder
1tsp vanilla extract
1tsp maple syrup (optional)

METHOD:
Blend all ingredients together with a high-speed blender or Bamix,, adding extra milk if too thick. Spoon into a container, cover and allow to set in the fridge for at least one hour, or overnight.
Top with crushed nuts, fresh berries, sliced banana, goji berries, buckinis or toasted coconut


Vegan Dairy Free Protein Mousse – Nut Free

INGREDIENTS:
270ml coconut cream, refrigerated overnight
20g good quality, vegan chocolate protein powder (i.e. Bondi Protein Co – Vegan, Prana Protein, RAW Amazonia)
2tbs raw cacao powder
1tsp vanilla extract
1tsp maple syrup (optional)

METHOD:
Using a Bamix, beat the coconut cream on high for 2-3 minutes until thick. Add remaining ingredients and beat on high for 5 minutes or until mixture becomes stiff and fluffy
Top with crushed nuts, fresh berries, sliced banana, goji berries, buckinis or toasted coconut
