New to Arena Fitness and looking to get the lowdown on what’s what? We have your questions answered here to ensure you glide through the on-boarding process and get straight into the awesome experience that is Arena Fitness!

WHAT IS ALL THE HYPE ABOUT?

Arena fitness provides coach-led HIIT, functional and strength training that keeps you fit, without getting hiit! It is a completely non-contact program and every class can be taken by a beginner, intermediate or advanced level member. The Championship Series has been designed exclusively for Arena by fitness experts and focuses on burning lots of calories! Not only are these workouts 100% coach-led, but there is the added assistance of TVs displaying exercise demonstrations for each stations ensuring you can always see a breakdown of your specific exercise.

HOW DO I BOOK?

Once you have gained membership to Arena, simply download the Arena app, create your profile and schedule your first class, or alternatively, you can book through the website. This brings you to the booking portal and ensures that we know you are coming. Please note, you must book your class in advance and arrive approximately 10 minutes before class starts. You can book up to 10 days in advance which means you have the opportunity to plan out your week in advance.

HOW DO I GAIN ACCESS?

When you are an Arena Fitness member, you can simply use your swipe to gain access to the club. Once you are at Arena the coach will check you in on the booking iPad and you are ready to go!

HOW MANY CLASSES SHOULD I DO TO NOTICE A DIFFERENCE?

The number of classes you should do varies on your own ability. We generally say that the best results are achieved from attending 3 classes a week, while maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle. Please ask if you are unsure which class is right for you.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

All you need is water, a towel and your swipe to gain access. it is compulsory to leave your shoes and socks outside the studio and spray or wipe the soles of your feet with the sanitary spray/wipes provided (we like to sweat, a lot, so we want to keep it clean!). Some of the workouts have a boxing or MMA influence, so its a great idea to bring boxing gloves and wraps with you if you have some. Alternatively, we’ve got you covered with the spare pairs in Arena so you never have to miss out.

DO I NEED TO BRING A PARTNER?

Nope! While some of our workouts are designed around partnering routines, we are more than happy to team you up with someone and, in fact, we find that this is an amazing way to meet new people and have more fun!
