Quick Chocolate Protein Pancakes Recipe

Getting your breakfast right is so important for setting your day off to a good start, and what better way to do that than with Chocolate Protein Pancakes! They are convenient, healthy, and filling, plus we think you will love the taste too! The high protein content also makes it the ideal post workout meal if you like a morning sweat session.

INGREDIENTS:
3tbs rolled oats
1tbs flaxseed meal
1 tbs cocoa
2tbs low fat milk or milk of your choice
1 scoop (20g) of chocolate flavoured protein powder
1 small mashed banana
1 egg, beaten
Fresh berries, to serve
Greek, coconut or almond yoghurt, to serve

METHOD:
Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth, pouring consistency is reached. Add more oats if the mixture is too wet, or more water if the mixture is too dry.
Add 1tsp oil to a hot pan and pour ¼ cup of the pancake mix into the pan. Add a few more ¼ cup serves to your pan. Cook until mixture starts to bubble, then flip and continue cooking for 2 minutes
Serve with fresh berries and yoghurt
